Sustainability in and of Chemical Education
The aim of the symposium is to present and discuss approaches to teaching about sustainability, both in general chemistry and in teacher education, and ways in which to foster the sustainability of education.
This is aimed at an audience of university lecturers, chemistry educators and teacher trainers; school teachers will also be very welcome.
The speakers come from different areas; we have invited people lecturing at university, chemistry educators, industrial experts and speakers working in global distribution organizations.
The symposium will take place on Tuesday, August 31st and will be divided into two parts, both with an open discussion at the end in which we will collect ideas and demands which can be discussed by the Division of Chemical Education of EuCheMS afterwards.
